Flowers at Kailua Beach (The hibiscus is Hawaii's state flower and is found all over the Island in different colors)
The other pics are facing the beach but if you turned around this is what you would see! There was also a river that went through the town so you could take the Kayaks either along the river or out to the ocean! Can't wait to take one out soon:)
This little guy was too cute on the beach today! He brought that coconut around with him wherever he went! I wanted to take him home lol
Here is another pic I took today of Kailua beach! Next time Paul and I come here we are going to rent Kayaks all day. It looked like so much fun in the big waves!
Today we spent the day at Kailua Beach on the Windward side of the Island. It was so beautiful and tropical here. The waves were really big today so it was really fun to go swimming and get pushed around by the huge waves!!!

Paul and I went for a little dip on Waikiki beach at Sunset before eating dinner on shore:)
Going for another swim in the lagoons! The water feels so good:)
One of our good family friends, Al, is living in Waikiki and he likes to take Paul and I out to dinner at a restaurant called Dukes right on Waikiki beach so we can listen to the live bands, watch the waves and the sunset:)
I know the picture is a little fuzzy, but it is of Hawaii's state fish, the humuhumunukunukuapua'a. I learned how to pronouce it too:)
Here is a picture of the Bishop Museum we went to in Honolulu. We learned how the Polynesians used the stars to find their way to Hawaii! It was pretty cool and now if I ever got lost in the Pacific I might be able to find my way to the Islands:)
They have a lot of Hawaiian style Christmas decorations around town! This one is a huge Mr. and Mrs. Claus in Honolulu...
We visisted the statue of Kamehameha that is in front of Aliʻiolani Hale (currently used for the Hawai'i State Supreme Court) in Honolulu.
This is a picture of Honolulu! We went there for a day to visit historic sites and museums so we could learn more about the Hawaiian culture. This picture was taken from the Bishop Museum.
We went swimming at the lagoons for New Years Day and celebrated with some Mango Daiquiris:)
Paul relaxing in the water after we played catch for awhile with a tennis ball and velcro mits!
Hanging out in the lagoon:)
The Ko Olina lagoons are 15 minutes away from our condo! There are four lagoons that vary in size! We LOVE to go swimming here during the day!
Love the way these trees look, they are everywhere:)
One of my favorite things about our condo is at night, when the lights are off the trees are lit up from the condo complex. We usually have all the windows open so it really feels like you are outside, I love it!
This is one of the trees off our deck! So pretty!
We have a lot of trees off our deck view but if you look closely between the trees you can see the ocean:)
Our little deck area. I LOVE our big windows!!! I always feel like I am outside because the windows are so big and you can hear all the birds chirping:)
The main area of our condo!
The living/family area next to the kitchen
Our bathroom (We still need to decorate and buy most of our furniture as you can see)
